Stanley is 5 years old from Wareham in Dorset.
He has a condition called Semi Lobar Holoprosencephaly which has caused cerebral palsy and global developmental delay. This means the muscles in his legs are really tight so he struggles to crawl or walk without help. He finds it hard to sit unaided and can't support much weight with his arms.
It's really hard for Stan to use both hands together and play with toys. He manages to get around on the floor doing a commando crawl, mainly to chase after his little sister! On the up side, Stan goes to his local school and has lots of friends.
Stan is getting really good at using his wheelchair and he loves going fast.
What Stan would love is to be able to get around a bit easier and going to a centre that carries out intensive therapies would help a lot, and that's where all your support can help him. Continuous therapy and the right equipment will mean there is no limit to what Stan can achieve.
On Sunday 19th August we will be walking 32 miles and whilst it isn't a race, we do have to finish in under 12 hours so we're going to have to keep up the pace and perhaps even crack out a little jog at times!
