Your donation will help many people who have lost their partner before the age of 50, and offer them support through difficult times (www.widowedandyoung.org.uk). One of our school friends lost her Dad in her early teens. Her Mum got involved with the charity to meet other people who shared the experience of losing a partner at a young age and the challenges that go with that. Our friend's Dad walked the Thames path to raise money for a cancer charity supporting head and neck cancers (www.headsup-wh.org.uk) and this has inspired us to follow a similar route.

Donating will motivate us to keep going and be part of only the second ever female scouting crew to complete the DW race in it's 70 year history.
