Story

This is our Team Page and is dedicated to raising money for Compton Hospice in memory of the late Lord Bilston, Dennis Turner. My name is Brendon Turner, son of Lord Bilston. I wanted to organise a fundraising event to support a local charity who's services helped my father and so many people in their times of need. The Team who are taking part in this event have each volunteered their time and effort to this challenge and each has their own reasons and motivation for taking part. On 23rd July 2016 members of the 2014 Lord Bilston Big Challenge Team of Jay Croot, Alan Davies, Jamie Howe, Mark Chambers, Jon Burgwin, Paul Fothergill, Reece Smith, Mike Sudlow, Andy Tiernan, Colin Mathews and myself will be joined by Dave Percival, Gary Ruby, Shaun Bennett, Adrian Howe, Mike Howe, Marc Hughes, Tom Adams, Kevin Mohan, Chris Lake, Chris Wright, Simon Logan, Adam Woodall, Shaun Delaney, Stuart Banbery, Jay Morgan and Patrick Hyde to complete the 140mile Cycle, Bike Carry and Swim from Anglesea to Compton Hospice. The challenge will be preceded by a 12 week intense and time consuming training plan starting on 1st May. Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
