Great Manchester Run 10k 2019 · 19 May 2019 ·
I’m currently a Healthcare Support Work in Wythenshawe Hospital on the ward Pulmonary Oncology Unit, in which we Specialise in Lung Cancer/Respiratory but we treat all our patients with the same dignity and equality they deserve whilst in our care, we also go above and beyond for our patients family members/visitors. Everyone who attends/visits our ward matters to us.
I’m running the Manchester 10k in May on behalf of the blue wave #teamMFT all the different sectors/ staff member off our hospitals to raise as much money as we can and of course all the money I raise shall go to my ward, in which it will help us to get our patients things they need or want whilst in hospital or even home comforts to ensure there stay is as comfortable and as nice as it can be.
I shall also be honoured to be running in memory of a dear loving friend who sadly passed away whilst in our care 💔 She was such an inspirational strong woman who always smiled and made me smile :) she told me several times to be happy and achieve my goals so this run is for you Susan Norman 💖
You will never be forgotten 😘
Any donations is welcome little or large as every penny counts and it would mean a lot to myself and my colleagues within my ward.
