WE DID IT!!! Team Rutland finished the 10k!!!! It was such hard work but we all stuck together and did it!!

Well - the big day is nearly upon us!! Team Rutland Hotel have been training hard and we are ready to go!!! We have a few injuries but will battle through - all in aid of this great cause!!

The Rutland Hotel has a long standing relationship with the Sheffield Hospitals and we are delighted to have taken on the South Yorkshire Heart Appeal as our chosen Charity of this year. The Bupa 10k run is our way and a focus to raise money for this amazing charity. 9 of the team will be running on 9th October and we are all currently in training!! We will also stand out from the crowd on the day of the run as we have some fun ideas underway....watch this space for photos!!  

The South Yorkshire Heart Appeal will raise funds to help reduce the odds of death from heart disease and ensure the people of South Yorkshire and beyond continue to receive the very best in specialist medical care at the South Yorkshire Cardiothoracic Centre, Northern General Hospital.

The funds we raise will support a variety of projects including additional state of the art equipment, cutting edge treatment, world class research and enhancing patient facilities.

Our aim is to ensure that the Cardiac Services within South Yorkshire Cardiothoracic Centre are at the forefront of advances in treatment and research into heart disease, which remains the UK’s biggest killer.
