We are raising funds in support of Cancer Research UK and in affiliation with a US based charity 'Remember Betty'. Both fighting cancer and hoping to find a cure.

Team Bettys are being set up around the UK to take to part in the Race for Life to help raise money for Cancer Research in memory of Betty Wood. Remember Betty was set up in the USA after the passing of Betty Wood to Breast Cancer by her son Danny Wood, member of US band New Kids on the Block. There are now Team Bettys throughout the USA fundraising through walks and now Team Bettys are being set up throughout the UK (so far there are 19). All the money raised in the UK will stay in the UK and will be donated straight to Cancer Research UK through the Race for Life.

 

We have all experienced the loss and devastation that Cancer can cause at one point in our lives. If not directly, close friends and family may have been affected.
