Well… the inaugural outing of the Burgess triathlon team was an outstanding success with everyone completing what was a challenging but ultimately fantastic event. Even the weather joined in, blessing us with beautiful (although a little warm during the run) conditions. Little or no breeze for the swim, and then sunshine all the way with a hint of a sea breeze for the beachside leg of the run course.

 

Most of the team would agree that the swim and the bike were the best bits, with the run course around the town of Alcudia proving to be a bit of a slog but hey it wasn’t supposed to be easy…
