Bolton lads and girls club is one of the biggest youth centres in the UK, welcoming young people aged 8-21 years-old, up to 25 years old for youngsters with disabilities.
The club was originally founded by a group of local businessmen who wanted to support local youngsters.
Many things have changed over the years, but the Club’s dedication to providing young people with a safe place to spend their spare time remains at the heart of what they do.
Each week, the Club delivers a wide variety of programmes to nearly 3,000 young people ranging from recreational opportunities, performing arts and a diverse range of sporting activities, with an overall membership currently at over 8,000 children and young people.
As a registered charity (#1051292), none of their income is guaranteed. They rely on support from their Patrons, supporters and fundraisers to keep their doors open on a daily basis.
We also need to add 'this event is being funded by the participating riders, 100% of your contribution goes to helping the club keeping up their great work'
