We set up our Team Clarke vs ALS Facebook fundraising and awareness page in 2015, shortly after my brother David was diagnosed with Motor Neurons Disease ( otherwise known as ALS)

Since then we have completed many challenges, from the Lucerne Marathon, the ice bucket and chilli pepper challenges, to a series of 10 x10k’s all over the UK in 2019.

Last year wasn’t a good year for anybody. The planned ‘bucket list’ Brighton Marathon was postponed twice, and fundraising proved almost impossible.

Now we are into a new year and the world is waking up once more, so it’s time to spring back into action and keep fighting for a cure for this underfunded disease!

Molly and I will take on the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge on August 7th 2021 on behalf of Team Clarke and in memory of David. Any support that can be offered by our family and friends is appreciated. It’s time we gave hope to the sufferers of this disease and their loved ones! 🙏🏻
