We spent a day helping to make the Railway Fields Nature Reserve more accessible to wheelchair users by helping to construct a pathway. We also chopped logs to provide habitat to the reserve's mini-beasts.

The reserve is simply wonderful and the fantastic team from The Conservation Volunteers help to organise conservation workdays, species monitoring and public events,including bat walks, the dawn chorus and family activities. Over 700 school children from local primary schools visit the site as an Environmental Education resource, studying the pond, mini beasts, plants and trees.
