We're Team Emeke from NCS and we are looking to raise money for a Soup Kitchen the provides basic necessities for those who need it.

We are taking part in a walk entitled 'walking in the footsteps of the homeless', as we follow the route that many take going from soup kitchen to homeless shelter in the area. We will be trying to encourage people to donate as much or as little as they can for this great cause, as the soup kitchen relies solely upon donations to continue to exist.

We are raising money for the American International Church in Tottenham Court Road. As youths we believe that it is better for us to take action now as winter is coming up and this means that it is essential that people receive a hot meal and the necessary clothing for the cold weather.

100 people use the soup kitchen each week, and rely on donations of goods, clothes and volunteering hours to function.
