Georg has struggled with balance and mobility for as long as he can remember, and after a number of medical investigations and tests to find out what the cause for this was, he was diagnosed with Friedreich’s Ataxia (FA) in early 2015. Since the diagnosis, Georg has found that regular sport and exercise has helped him to keep on top of some of the worse symptoms. Georg’s determination and discipline over the last years have been inspirational, and so we have pulled together a team from Germany and the UK to join him in running the Oxford Half Marathon.

We are running to raise money for Ataxia UK, who are funding research to find a cure to FA, to raise awareness of the condition and to get Georg over that finish line!
