Story

Is it a bird?  Is it a plane?  No, it's our very own Superhero Centre Manager, Rae and her crazy sidekicks made up of our Chairman, some of our trustees, volunteers and supporters who will be flying through the air all in aid of our centre.  (Don't worry they've promised to keep their pants inside their trousers at all times!)

On August 12th, twelve intrepid individuals will all take part in a 700m Zip Slide at the National Dive Activity Centre in Tidenham.  The wire is one of the UK's longest, tallest and fastest zip slides.  This is all to raise money for the Gloucestershire Multiple Sclerosis Information and Therapy Centre, and the associated Glos O2 Therapy Centre.

This small self-funded charity provides much needed help to people in the Gloucestershire area living with Multiple Sclerosis and other neurological conditions.  Therapies include: massage, physiotherapy, acupuncture and oxygen therapy.

The Glos O2 Therapy Centre provides pressurised oxygen sessions to people who have other various conditions, including, but not limited to: ME, Fibromyalgia, Cancer, Arthritis, Diabetes, Autism, and sports injuries and post-operative recovery.

The centre also provides a drop in facility for it's members, where people can just come and visit, have coffee, cake and most of all make friends with others in similar situations.

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.  We welcome any donations to this wonderful cause.
