As many of you may know, I lost my dear, darling & wonderful friend Polly in 2014.

Polly had been diagnosed with cervical cancer at the age of 24, after missing a smear test because she'd just moved house. She thought that her weight gain, fatigue and bloating were simply down to burning the candle at both ends.

But, in 2005, it was discovered that she actually had cervical cancer - and it had spread to her lymph nodes.

After one of the bravest battles I have ever witnessed, Polly past away aged just 32. It is, of course, way too young but worse still, it could have been avoided.
