Story

Marcel, Monika and Phoebe are TEAM McBenika in Rag's 2018 Jailbreak! We finally found how to put our crazy adventurous spirit to good use. On the 24th February, with only 36 hours on the clock, we have to leave  UCL and travelling as far away as possible from London, while completing a series of challenges along the way and raising money PHAB & Sickle Cell Society before, during, and after our jailbreak challenge!

PHAB is a charity that supports children, young people, and adults with disabilities in order to break social barriers, create opportunities and overcome social isolation.  It has 150 clubs all over the UK, providing an opportunity for those with disabilities and their friends and family to meet together and enjoy numerous activities and social events.

Sickle Cell Society supports and represents people affected by sickle cell disease to improve their overall quality of life. Sickle cell disease is an inherited blood disease which leads to abnormalities in the haemoglobin of the blood cells. Those affected can have painful episodes known as sickle cell crises, increased likelihood of infection and anaemia. The Sickle Cell society helps ensure that everyone affected, no matter their gender or ethnicity, is represented fairly and can access quality healthcare.

Help us support these fantastic organisations continue doing such amazing work. The organisations depend mainly on public donations and so it is vital to raise awareness of their work! YOU CAN HELP! DONATE NOW 😄
