We are dedicated to improving the quality of life and chances of survival for young cancer patients aged 13-24. We fund and build specialist units in NHS hospitals and provide dedicated staff, bringing young people together so they can be treated by teenage cancer experts in the best place for them.

Story

Update

Team Mia successfully completed the Royston in Blue walk on Sunday 23rd June, in memory of my beautiful & precious daughter Mia.

The Team done amazingly well, especially all the children for keeping pace and having to walk against the wind during the 1st half of the walk…………wigs were certainly blowing and in some cases flying off! However the Team kept spirit, and Mia made sure the sun did come out and shine for the 2nd half of the walk.  We all even managed to jog the last few metres!

As Mia's parents, we are extremely honoured that very special friends and my wonderful family came together as Team Mia and walked in memory of our beautiful & precious angel. Each and every member of the Team should be extremely proud for all their hard work, in helping raise money for such a fantastic and vital cause. We are utterly astounded that we have raised over 5 times our original target that we set. We are so very very proud to have achieved this in memory of our little angel Mia.

We know we have done our princess more than proud and that is of course down to all of Team Mia and everyone that has supported us and donated.

Our heartfelt thanks go to every single person that has sponsored us so far. For those that haven't .......... there is still time!

PLEASE help us raise even more money and help make that difference.

Thank you so much for your support.

How you can help

Teenage Cancer Trust exists to improve the quality of life and chances of survival for young people with cancer. They rely completely on donations from people like you to fund their vital work.

With your help, Teenage Cancer Trust can make a real difference to young people with cancer. Your donation will help to build specialist units where young people with cancer can be treated together.

They have funded, built and now maintain 25 units across the UK. They plan to build a further 10 so that all young people needing hospital treatment for cancer across the UK have access to the dedicated, specialist support they provide, no matter where they live.

You'll see our team fundraising target at the top of the page.

Team Mia would be extremely grateful for your support and any donations are welcome, no matter how big or small.

Please help us make a difference to the quality of life and chances of survival for young people with cancer.

Thank you very much for your support in remembrance of my beautiful daughter and towards such a worthy and critical cause.
