In memory of Tony Keal

We support the work of Royal Papworth Hospital as the UK’s leading centre of excellence for the treatment and diagnosis of cardiothoracic disease, to provide additional amenities for our patients and their families and to fund Papworth’s pioneering research activity and vision for the future.

Story

Tony passed away on 4 November after suffering a sudden cardiac arrest a week prior. This was a result of cardiomyopathy leading to heart failure. This is one of the biggest killers in the UK, being responsible for approximately 1 in 4 deaths.

We’re raising money for Papworth Hopsital so that they can continue their valuable research and to provide the incredible levels of care that they gave to Tony.

Ryan (son) and Alex (nephew) will be joined by Tobs (hates cycling), Jim (inflates own stats) and Jonny (more driving gloves than lycra) to cycle the 879 miles from John o’ Groats to Brighton unsupported in June over 9 days.

Colin and Lee (brothers), Olly and Adam (nephews) will join us on the way down before the official British Heart Foundation London to Brighton on 16 June where Debby (wife), Jordan (daughter), Lucy (daughter in law), brothers, sisters, in-laws, nephews and nieces will all be joining for the 54 mile event (there is another Just Giving page for this).

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
