The OSCAR Campaign

The OSCAR Campaign raises funds towards areas of urgent need at Great Ormond Street Hospital and its research partner, the UCL Institute of Health. The campaign is raising money to support priority areas of research which will improve children's lives worldwide.

The campaign is led by Phil Parry, Chairman of Spinnaker Global, whose son was diagnosed with leukaemia at just three years old. Oscar received three life-saving transplants at GOSH, one of which was ground-breaking stem cell transplant. He is living proof of the importance of pioneering research. Had he been in the same situation a year earlier, it is unlikely he would have survived.

Event

On Friday 14th September at 14:00 in Canary Wharf, eleven employees from Teekay in London will be participating in the Dragon Boat Race to raise money for Great Ormand Street Hospital. We will be competing against other companies in the industry in two heats of 250m races and the top six teams will battle it out in a final.

It would be great if you can come down and cheer us on at the finish line with the rest of our supporters or donate a little penny to this charitable cause. This will help us on our journey to raising £5,000.
