Ten Foundations is a Northern Ireland-based charity that works closely with the community of Balayan in Batangas, Philippines in providing livelihoods for women and education for children. I think that all they do is impactful in providing stability to the vulnerable members of Balayan and beyond.

I'll be in a group of other students this summer and together we'll take.  We will also work on Building Projects and the Teaching Programme. With the help barangay (native Filipino term for village/districts) health officials, we will work in the Medical and Feeding Mission. It'll be a busy two weeks!

 £1000 go to funding plane journeys, food, local transport and accommodation (but this may change depending on plane fare). Accommodation is in the HQ for Ten foundation in Balayan and food is provided as well through them.
