Story

That's the run finished for another year and that was one of the best. Beautiful weather, great specators in places and a good bit of camaraderie between the riders.

Over 7,000 riders took part this year and they formed more-or-less unbroken snake between the start at Glasgow Green and the finish at Victoria Park in Edinburgh. We all cycle a bit and our admiration for the very many leisure cyclists and children that take part knows no bounds. Made overtaking a bit tricky mind, particularly as Fraser had a time limit to beat to ensure one sponsor doubled his money. The time was duly beaten and Fraser would like to apologise to any riders that felt a bit "pit oot" by his overtakes, particularly on the narrow sections.

We are really pleased with the amount we've raised this year and it will be interesting to see how it looks when everything is totted up. So a big thank you to all of our sponsors.
