Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am running the Great North Run in September in memory of Warrant Officer Class 2 Terry Conley, the charity I am running for is the ABF The Soldiers' Charity.

Raising awareness for Mental Health Matters, not all wounds are visible.  Pull Up A Sandbag is providing confidence, inspiring those with Mental Health issues to not shoulder all the weight, reach out and get help.  Pull Up A Sandbag represents a visual representation of the weight people suffering from PTSD and other Mental Health problems carry with them on a daily basis.

Pull Up A Sandbag is a Military metaphor for when someone is telling a yarn, a dit, or a story, today I am using this saying - Pull Up A Sandbag to promote reaching out and talking, talking can save lives.

Thank you for your support, it's greatly appreciated.

Regards,

Mark (Benny) Hill
