Two marathons, one month!

I am honoured (and a tiny bit terrified) to have the opportunity to run the London Marathon on 3rd October on behalf of the Mayor of Southwark and raise money for the Southwark Day Centre for Aslyum Seekers. 

As I don't like to make things easy for myself (may I remind you I'm also renovating a house right now), I've also signed up for the Liverpool marathon..which is taking place on the 24th October. 

So yeah.. two marathons, one month!!

I'm doing all this to raise money for Southwark Day Centre for Aslyum Seekers (SDCAS). I live in Southwark and I work in Southwark, so supporting this charity fills me with immense pride. All donations made will support the day centre to continue the incredible work they do.

SDCAS provide a variety of holistic services which support, promote and secure the rights of asylum seekers and refugees in the London Borough of Southwark. Their support helps them access health services, employment, housing, training and education.

Here's hoping that my legs make it over the finish line...twice!
