Hospice in the Weald provides compassionate, individualised, holistic and supportive care for all patients, and those important to them, in West Kent and East Sussex. As a local charity not part of the NHS we need to raise £8m each year to ensure our services can continue.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On Saturday 18 April I will be joining my fellow NCT members in honour of our friend Rebekah whom we first met when our (now 7 year old children) were just bumps.

Bex was the glamourous, shiny and gorge member of the group. She made us all smile and laugh, even when she was going through such tough times. She fought with grace and dignity but sadly lost her battle with cancer last year, and leaves a beautiful daughter behind. As a close group of mummy friends, we wanted to show how much we cared for Bex, by doing the Dirty dozen run in memory of her. We also wanted to honour the Hospice in the Weald, for the amazing care they gave her. We hope that even though we will be getting covered head to foot in mud, that our inner gorgeousness will shine through just like Bex's always did.
