1 in 5 children and 1 in 10 adults in the UK have eczema - that's over 8 million people. For almost 50 years the Society has provided information and support and works to dispel myths so those who have eczema need not feel stigmatised, guilty or isolated.

This will be my 3rd London Marathon! I've said i won't do it again on both previous occasions, but yeah... here i am.

Whoever donates the largest amount of money to the charity can choose what i wear when running (And no, Borat's mankini is not an option :p) - Last time it was a snow white dress with orange hair, i clearly looked pretty in it.

I'm raising funds for the National Eczema Society - www.eczema.org

Having suffered with eczema my whole life, it suuuuucks. It was pretty bad as a kid, my adult life it cleared up a bit, but i still get the odd flare up. My mentality about it now is i really don't care about how it looks, and living in Texas means that you pretty much have to wear shorts and t shirt 9 months of the year due to the heat!

However, as a kid i was conscious of it - the usual in school was that other kids would stare, make comments and be like "ew, what's wrong with your foot?" It's Eczema, get over it.

The National Eczema Society has been around since 1975 and aims to provide people with independent and practical advise about treating and managing eczema, and to raise awareness of the needs of those who suffer with eczema with healthcare professionals, teachers and the government.

Please throw some donations their way. The work they do, especially for kids dealing with Eczema is awesome. Plus, donate the largest amount and choose what i wear on the day!
