We share recycling skills around the world to beat poverty, pollution & climate change

Story

3 billion people worldwide don't have their rubbish collected.  WasteAid UK helps to tackle this problem. https://wasteaid.org.uk/

WasteAid UK is a small charity that  turns the problem of waste into an economic opportunity. The charity shares skills so that people can transform waste into useful stuff, creating healthier communities, cleaner oceans, and a better world for everyone.  What does WasteAid do?

- train people in low- and middle-income countries to manage waste in a safe and affordable way.
- enable partners to benefit from local waste management jobs, useful products, a cleaner environment and better public health.
- campaign for urgent action to tackle the waste crisis and promote recycling as a tool for global sustainable development.

We're walking for WasteAid to increase awareness of this global problem and help them raise valuable funds.  Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thank you so much!  Any donation is greatly appreciated.

1 in 3 people globally do not have a waste management service and have no option but to burn or dump their waste, much of it ending up in the oceans. We share waste management and recycling skills that help people to help themselves from poverty, improve public health, and protect the environment
