Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We are running in the Kingston 10k in support of The Opal Project, who are working to build a new room in the Screening Department of Kingston Hospital’s Maternity Unit. This room will serve parents who require additional support during screening (e.g. during Amniocentesis), are discussing the results of a scan (e.g. if baby is potentially unwell), or are those sadly bereaved and need additional support. The room will be used by the Hospitals senior team, Bereavement Midwife and Counsellor to support families where needed.

We are all novice runners, and many of us have never run in an event before. We are training hard, we appreciate your support.
