Story

We did it!  We arrived at Inverness Castle on Friday evening after six great days of wonderful scenery, sunshine, rain, midges together with lots of laughs and, amazingly, with Toby's paws still in-tact.

We met some lovely people (and dogs) along the way and, thanks to your generous donations, were able to come away having supported  two very important charities in memory of George.

Thank you to everyone who sponsored us and for all your messages of support.

Gillian, Graeme, Calum, Catherine and Tobyx

Following the success of the "For George" team in Somerset who walked 24 miles in a day to raise money for St Margaret's Somerset Hospice this May, the "For George" (Scotland) Team are attempting to cycle as much of the Great Glen Way as we can in 5 or 6 days starting next Sunday 31st July.

The Great Glen Way (www.greatglenway.co.uk) is a 79 mile off-road route from Fort William to Inverness.  We will be staying in B&B's and hostels along the way and the trip will be self-funded.

In addition to  raising money for St Margaret's Somerset Hospice we are also hoping to do so for Macmillan Cancer Support to help them continue the very important work they do across the UK.

Any donations would be much appreciated.
