1 - More than 1 in 6 people in the world don't have access to safe drinking water, with most of them being in Africa. That's more than everyone in Europe and America put together.

2 - 1 out of every 4 deaths under the age of 5 worldwide, is due to a water-related disease.

3 - 80% of all illnesses in developing countries are linked to poor water & sanitation conditions.

NO EXAGGERATION HERE!!! Lack of clean water kills over 5000 children in Africa EVERY DAY! And the worst thing is, it could have been avoided!! 

So in an effort to make a difference, all four of us lazy siblings (the 4 Akbars!) are climbing Ben Nevis (the biggest, baddest mountain in the whole country!!) to raise money for Water Aid Africa. And all we ask in return is that you part with some of your cash... or allot of it, if you can!

The money you donate will help bring clean drinking water to people in Africa, and give the communities a chance to achieve their vision of a sustainable future.
