The Phoenix Skydive For Positive East

Skydive for Positive East · 24 July 2019
Positive East is a fantastic charity in East London that provides support and advice services to people living with (and affected by) HIV. They have been at the forefront of HIV service and care for 28 years; supporting people from point of HIV diagnosis to longer term care.
Every year, they support more than 1,700 people who walk through their doors to access their services as well as providing another 1,500 people with a free HIV/STI test in the Positive East building and at their outreach sessions.
Their vision is “A world where people living with HIV are able to fulfill their potential, free from stigma and discrimination, living full healthy lives” and their mission is to “Improve the quality of life of individuals and communities affected by HIV”.
Recently, I visited the Positive East HQ in East London to gain an insight into the work that they do and the services that they supply. I was so thrilled to see a vast space provided to suit the diverse needs of the public all housed within a safe and welcoming environment! It was clear to me from that moment that these services need to be preserved and supported in order to continue making life-changing differences to so many individuals in their most vital time of need. It's so easy to take the kindness of others for granted, but these acts of kindness need to be fueled and it's here that we can make the difference. Any donation is of value and can be the pivotal factor in Positive East's ability to aid the community efficiently!
Thank you for taking the time to read this! I hope you get involved and spread the word!
