Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As many of you may know, seven years ago my father suffered with a stroke that left him paralysed on his left handsIde. It has been a very long and emotional journey, but day by day he continues to improve because of charities such as Headway! My father contributed above and beyond for his community. Not only did he support the elderly but also the young and the unemployed, and never once did I hear him complain or ask for anything in return.
Unfortunately his stroke took away his ability to continue his work thus cutting his social life to a minimum. Headway has given him purpose and direction. He meets with his friends on a weekly bases and it keeps him alive and kicking.
Please help my sisters and I to raise £1000 towards Headway and their fantastic work. Honestly to hear my dad laugh and smile whenever he returns from Headway, as he updates us on all the gossip like a little old lady is priceless! I am so grateful that my daddy made it out of his coma and that we have been given the chance to celebrate and appreciate his life.
