Story

We are the Lawrence Family comprising of a couch potato, a book worm and 2 sporty teenagers.

During the period from 1st Nov to 21st Nov, we are committing to completing, a minimum total as a family, of 10,000 Stepups/Pressups to raise at least £500 for ODAAT.

ODAAT is a drug and alcohol quasi-residential male only rehabilitation program and a part of the charity HOPE worldwide. It began about 25 years ago and grew out of a need to help the homeless people on HOPE worldwide's Two Step homeless housing program to deal with their addiction.

Drugs and alcohol addiction can destroy families and friendships. It also has a terrible impact on the wider community. Alcohol costs the NHS £billions and drugs addiction can lead to crime and violence to fund their habits. ODAAT helps to change men caught up in all this. Broken family relationships are healed. Self-esteem and confidence to give to others and serve is instilled. Volunteering and starting work takes place and lives are transformed. This inspires us to support ODAAT.

Thank you for your donation, every penny counts!
