Fundraising for AMMF
Story
This year has not been an easy one for my family. My Dad (Adie) was diagnosed with Cholangiocarcinoma (Bile Duct Cancer) at the start of 2015. This cancer is a very rare and aggressive cancer but with sadly, no cure. My Dad is only 49 years old.
AMMF have given my family amazing support through this tough time and we want to thank them for doing so. We want to raise awareness of this cancer and raise money for this charity to help fund research, and also programmes to help other people who suffer from this cancer.
WE LEWIS LEAPED!!! On Sunday 25th October 2015, all nine of us faced our fears and jumped out of a plane. Sadly, my Dad was not able to complete the jump due to medical reasons but my Mum happily took his place. We had such a wonderful day, surrounded by the ones we love most. There were tears of joy and nerves but none the less, one massive family memory that we will have forever. We as a family would like to thank each and every person that has donated and the people who are still donating. We are absolutely overwhelmed by the love and support that we have received. It means more to us than anyone will ever know. Thank you so much, from the bottom of our hearts and thank you for taking the time to read our page.
