The London Walk · 4 November 2021 to 20 March 2022 ·
What doesn’t meet the eye of people enjoying the vibrant night life in London, is the 11,000 people that sleep on it’s streets every year along with thousands of other hidden homeless in the country
On Saturday 19th March 2022 I, along with hundreds of others, will be marching, strolling and strutting together through the night to raise ever-important funds. The London Homeless Collective members work together from pavement through to policy with one aim - to fight homelessness in the city.
The Sanctuary at the Marylebone Project is the only 24/7, 365 place of safety and support for vulnerable, homeless women facing crisis in London and the UK. Each month over 600 women benefit from the services provided - whether training, specialist advice, access to clothing and food, a place to feel safe and sleep or to feel part of a community. Alongside our 112 residential beds, the Project is striving to change individual lives with the ultimate aim to empower and equip women to return to sustained independent living.
