We exist to give a lifetime of support to the wider Army family, regardless of where or when a soldier served. We act swiftly and efficiently in providing support in the form of grants to those who find themselves in real need. We also provide grants to charities who support the wider Army family.

Story

I am Darren Aitchison, my brother Glenn and I are taking part in a number of challenges during 2011 dressed as a doctor and a nurse, hence The Medical Brothers.

We are raising awareness and funds for ABF - The Soldiers Charity.  This charity is one that we both have a strong interest in as I served in the Royal Engineers for 12 years and Glenn has so far completed 21 years of services including tours of Afghanistan, Iraq and Bosnia.

**Update 20 March 2011**

We have set new Guinness World Records at the Fleet Half Marathon.  Glenn (Nurse) 1h31min and Darren (Doctor) 1h49minJust London to go now.........................

We are running the Fleet Half Marathon in March 2011 and then the Virgin London Marathon in April.  We are attempting to break the current world records for these distances dressed as a doctor and a nurse.

The Soldiers Charity give lifetime support to serving and retired soldiers and their families. Soldiers risk so much for us, but for them, it's "just doing their job".

The immediate help the charity offer is a lifeline. But they look to the future too, keeping ahead of the game, finding the best ways to give medical, technical and financial support to give the best possible outlook for the men and women who sacrifice so much for us.

When soldiers put everything on the line it’s our job to ask for something from those of us that they serve to defend.

When they risk their lives, and everything that they hold dear, the charity is here to provide them and their families with lifetime support.

Our soldiers give their tomorrow, for your today so please, please, please, please donate as much as you can to help raise money for this amazing chairty who in turn continue to help those brave men and women who contine to defend you & this country no questions asked.

**UPDATE** 15 Jan 11
