Why do I want to help The Haven Wolverhampton, raise awareness and say no to domestic violence?

Because I have witnessed someone having to live with domestic violence. This person was my sister. I cannot tell you how heartbreaking it is to see bruises all over someone you love, to see them change as a person because they are scared they will get beaten for saying/looking/doing something wrong, to see them lose so much weight their clothes hang off them, to know they are going home to be beaten again, to be physically and mentally abused. 

My sister was lucky and manaed to get her and my young niece out of the situation, but not without complications for herself and my family. 

But through all this The Haven Wolverhampton were there to help and support her and all of us. We cannot thank them enough for this They deserve all the help we can give them.

The work they do is incredible and helps so many women and children. But they cannot do this work without our help, this is why I support them and try and so what I can to help them.

With our help they will continue to offer support, refuge and a safe haven to women and children in the situation my sister was in. If it was your loved one suffering like my sister did wouldn't you like to think there was a charity that could help them?
