The Richshaw Run · 2 January 2015

Justice and Care rescue women and children who have been trafficked and brutally exploited. We help them restore their lives. We fight slavery, pursuing and dismantling criminal networks and bringing perpetrators to justice. We secure communities at risk from traffickers and spark systemic change.

Story

We are a four-man team of London-based gap year students, who in January 2015 will travel 2,500km up the entire West coast of India, from Cochin in the South to Jaisalmer, on a motorised rickshaw or Tuk Tuk, a machine that has a grand total of 8 horsepower. The purpose of this expedition is to raise upwards of £15,000 for Justice and Care who rescue and support victims of trafficking and slavery, working on behalf of those trafficked in South Asia
