Story

At 9am on the 28th May 2023, I will leave Stirling Castle and attempt to cycle to The Colosseum in Rome, Italy, solo and unsupported, to raise money for the Eilidh Brown Respite Home.

The respite home is open, up and running, helping sick kids and their families right now, and needs 50k per year in running costs.

My journey will take me 1400 miles or so from Scotland to England, across Central Europe through The Netherlands, Germany, Austria, south through The Austrian Alps, over The Brenner Pass into the Dolomite Mountains of north east Italy, down onto the Adriatic Coast and Venice, before crossing south west, up and over The Apennine Mountains to my final destination, The Colosseum, in Rome.

Six countries, over 3 1/2 weeks, over 1,400 miles, 74,000 ft of climbing through Europes highest mountain ranges, solo, unsupported.

Having previously completed the London Marathon, the Highland Warrior Half Ironman, the North Coast 500, Lands End To John O’Groats, The Cateran 57 Mile Yomp, The West Highland Way and The National Three Peaks 24 Hour Challenge, I can safely say this challenge dwarfs all my previous efforts by some way, but it’s one I’m up for and have been training for throughout the winter.

What can you do to help?

PLEASE SPONSOR ME!!

I am seeking sponsorship from everyone in the community, individuals, businesses, large and small, and any other entity that has a funding stream.

As always, every penny raised goes directly to the Eilidh Brown Respite Home through my Just Giving Page. I am covering all my costs from my own pocket.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. Please help if you can. xxx
