RNLI volunteer lifeboat crews provide a 24-hour search and rescue service all around the UK and Ireland, while lifeguards keep a careful watch on the UK’s busiest beaches. RNLI lifesaving and drowning prevention depend on supporter fundraising and the generous donations that you and others give.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We are three North West businessmen brought together through our mutual involvement in the maritime industry. Having all been nominated as finalists in the Mersey Maritime Industry Awards 2016 and having listened to BBC's Louise Minchin impassioned endorsement for the sport of triathlon on the night of the awards, we thought we'd get involved and raise some money for a charity who give so much to the maritime industry in this country.

Remarkably, this incredible organisation relies entirely on donations from the general public, so please give as much as you can afford to make sure that their work can continue.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thanks so much for your generosity.
