Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

The most important thing is our intrepid team. Please move your curser over the section above and all of us will be revealed and there are pics below as well.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

I was diagnosed some 4 or 5 years ago and was going to cycle London to Paris in 24 hours but due to my condition and the fact that I`m fat and unfit (lol) my girls talked me into doing this walk instead as a family.

It may sound a meagre task when compared to the many arduous events being done by others but when you consider we will be taking in the daunting Mam Tor otherwise known as "The shivering mountain" at just under 1700 feet high together with 3 young children in tow it does suddenly become a little more daunting. It is our "marathon" except our watering stations may be of a more adult nature.

Any donation large or small will be greatly appreciated......they all add up. Is this the first time youve donated online? I can assure you it`s safe but also you will feel part of the team as well because you can log on as often as you want to see how our fund raising is progressing and you know that you`ve done your bit. In fact it could be addictive.

Many thanks for your help.

Brian Smith..
