Story

Our latest total is £80,000 the total on this page doesn't reflect all the people who have done fundraising pages for us. Click on our team page below to see our true total.

The Sunrise Appeal is a new fundraising campaign for the Neonatal and Paediatric departments at Ipswich Hospital, to buy dozens of new pieces of equipment to transform children's lives.

Every year the Neonatal Unit cares for more than 500 premature and sick babies and their families.

The Paediatric team meanwhile cared for more than 3,500 inpatients and almost 10,000 outpatients aged from 1 day to 16 years last year.

The team sees children with every type of illness and injury, including common but potentially fatal chest infections, heart disorders, paediatric cancers and children needing surgery.

Some of our young patients are helping us. To view their stories and see our wishlist visit www.ipswichhospital.nhs.uk/sunriseappeal
