The Willows Big Barn Appeal

Hannah Darnell is raising money for Willows Animal Sanctuary

The Big Barn Appeal · 9 July 2020

Willows Animal Sanctuary is the largest equine, farm and domestic animal sanctuary in Scotland. We look after over 450 animals including over 100 horses, ponies and donkeys, approximately 60 cats and dogs and many reptiles as well as over 200 farm animals and birds.

Story

Some of the big barns and buildings on site at Willows Animal Sanctuary, Aberdeenshire, were badly damaged in a recent storm.  Other buildings are in urgent need of repair before the site can re-open.

More stables are also needed for ageing residents to ensure that all the animals have the quality of life they deserve.

Due to the closure of the site following the impact of COVID-19, Willows doesn’t have the funds to make these essential repairs, or carry out the necessary works.  This is where you come in.

If we all club together, just £5.00 each, then we can help to meet those costs.

The good folk of Willows have worked so hard to keep it all together, even with COVID-19 taking away 50% of their normal revenue stream.

These are difficult times for everyone, but your donation of £5.00 could make such a difference.

Be kind 🙏🏻
