This year has been the most challenging of my life after being diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia in January. I underwent a gruelling 10 months of chemotherapy, much of which was spent in isolation due to my weakened immune system. I have now thankfully finished the intensive part of my treatment and have started my maintenance phase where I am learning to live and love life again.

I owe my recovery to the progress in medicine funded by Leukaemia and Lymphoma research. For over 50 years LLR has been working to advance the treatment and improve the lives of people with blood cancer.

My family, friends and I would like to show our appreciation and to raise as much as we can so that this vital work continues.
