Easter Walk 2019 · 20 April 2019 ·
Me and my breastie (get it!?) Debbie, have decided to take on this years 25km Windsor EasterWalk and raise money for Breast Cancer Now.
As you are already aware, at the age of 35 I have been diagnosed with grade 3 triple negative invasive ductal carcinoma. Not only am I young, I am also a mother to 3 very young children - breast cancer was never part of the plan, nor should it be something that affects anyone but here I am.
And so, my beautiful best friend, Debbie, being the ever so supportive girl she is came up with the idea of raising money for Breast Cancer Now in support of what Im going through and for me, it was my chance to give something back. This diagnosis really has ruined my life and Debbie has seen first hand how much it has affected both me and my family. So the Easter walk is pretty much what it says on the tin! On April 20th me and Debbie will be walking the 25km round Windsor to help give something back to a charity that means so much.
