September marks Gynaecological Cancer Awareness Month, which encourages women to be aware of the signs and symptoms of gynaecological cancers and to get more women talking without shame.

The Lady Garden Foundation, founded in 2014, works hard to raise awareness and funding for gynaecological health.

Today, and every day, 58 women in the UK receive life-changing news of a gynaecological cancer diagnosis. Gynaecological cancers have devastating outcomes for women, with an average mortality rate of 44%. Out of the 58 women diagnosed with gynaecological cancer today, 21 of them will die. Understanding the symptoms will save lives, so we need to start talking today.

Our overall mission at The Hempton is to produce and market the highest grade, ethically sourced, vegan and cruelty-free CBD products for the female consumer. Areas of primary interest and focus in relation to our approach to female wellness include hormone rebalancing, periods and the menopause, all critical subjects in the female community that are currently enjoying the conversations that they deserve. We believe women should be able to talk bluntly about the issues that affect them, and the lifestyle choices that help them. We welcome an openness to formerly secretive, female-centric topics such as periods, hormone related moods change, sleep difficulties, menopause, sexual health, vaginal dryness. We aim to gaslight some of the pernicious myths such as vaginas are in a constant state of near-catastrophe and need cleaning and repair, and give a platform to address gender, health and pain gaps.
