A long standing member of the hospitality industry Annie worked in catering for 28 years. Annie was diagnosed with breast cancer on two separate occasions. With her children dependent upon her the impact on family life was hard.  But life can be cruel. If coping with cancer hadn’t been enough Annie’s sight began to deteriorate. She was forced to leave her job and was registered blind soon after. 

We were able to provide Annie with special speech activated software so she could use her computer again. Although only a small change this has had a huge effect on the family’s life. Annie can once again carry out tasks such as online shopping reducing her dependency on her children.
