Thomas Abbott is raising money for Cancer Research UK
Story
On the 23rd of July I will be doing a sponsored leg wax in aid of Cancer Research UK. The inspiration for this fundraiser came as an extension of some work a friend of mine is currently doing in organising a fun show to be held on 31st July. My friend sadly lost her Nanna after a long 9 year battle with the condition and has since thrown herself into fundraising. This is what inspired me to do the little that I can to help raise some money towards this brilliant cause.
This terrible illness is something that has touched so many of our lives, whether that be through personal experience of the disease, a family member who has suffered or a friend. Every contribution goes towards making a difference by funding research in finding cures, raising awareness and making our cause a priority in government.
Any contribution no matter the amount helps to reach this goal. Footage of the waxing will be recorded and uploaded once the event has taken place.
