A message from me....

I was fortunate enough to get a place in the 2023 London Marathon, however, I was really struggling to decide on a Charity to support, until I heard Tom Chapman being interviewed by Chris Evans on the radio....

Tom is the founder of The Lions Barber Collective. His story and importance of the work, he and his team are doing really struck a chord with me and brought a tear to my eye. I knew this was the Charity I needed and wanted to support, especially as Tom is from my hometown - Torquay. 

Being a smaller charity, any amount of money you can donate will be hugely appreciated by Tom & his team and will help them to continue the amazing work they're doing, saving lives!

Our mission is to create non-clinical, non-judgemental safe spaces where people feel comfortable to talk about their mental health & signpost them to support and information. We do this by creating awareness, interest and desire in barbers to train & the general public to know where to find or access help. We will train the barbers using both our online and face to face BarberTalk training education packages that provide barbers with the skills to RECOGNISE, ASK, LISTEN and HELP TO HELP. Our vision is of a world free from suicide!
