People affected by prostate cancer need breakthrough treatments. Research is the only way to turn this hope into reality. Combining patient stories and scientific expertise, we fund projects that have a real impact, reducing side-effects, cutting treatment costs and ultimately improving outcomes.

Story

I signed up for this ride thinking it was a jolly organised by the company I work for, and then discovered two days before that it was supposed to be a sponsored event to raise money to fight prostate cancer.

I made it round in 9:18:43 (which included a baguette in Watlington and a cream tea at Ely Cathedral Refectory); it's the first ride this long that I've done.

Both I and my employer (assuming I get the paperwork arranged) will be matching any donations up to the fundraising goal, so if you are a taxpayer and donate a pound, Prostate Cancer Research Centre gets £3.50.
