Hiya Folks, 

I've never done anything like this before but when I found
out that a friend had signed me up for this event I promised myself that I
would not give up or quit. A year ago I almost lost my life due to Mental
Health Issues and Substance Misuse and I can now proudly inform you that I'm fast approaching a whole year completely abstinent. 

With this event I'm raising money for Cancer Research UK and I'm so grateful to have this opportunity to support such a good cause. Sadly, I've lost family & friends due to cancer as I'm sure most of you have too so please help me to try and 'KNOCK MY TARGET OUT'!!!

I also hope I can use this opportunity to help tackle the stigmatization surrounding those who suffer with their mental health, whether that manifests itself in addiction or not.
