Magpas is the chosen charity for Thomas Morris Sales & Lettings in 2013/2014.This charity receives no government or lottery funding and is solely dependent on the generosity of individual people like you.

 

We’re aiming to raise as much money as possible for this fantastic charity which saves lives and assists the badly injured right across our region-particularly those involved in motor accidents. Their fast response team of medics does an amazing and critical job. Magpas provides an enhanced air ambulance and emergency response service, despatched to medical emergencies in Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and beyond.  Crucially their flights carry specialist trauma doctors and paramedics who can start treatment straight away, thus saving more lives and reducing the effect of head and other serious injuries. Magpas is a registered charity (no. 1119279) which has attended over 60,000 patients since it was founded in 1971.

 

As part of this initiative we will be promoting Magpas at the Thomas Morris Family Fun Day at Huntingdon Racecourse on October 6.The final race will be named after Magpas- and we’ll be helping to collect more donations on the day.

We also have plans to raise additional funds throughout the year and support ORANGE DAY on May 23rd 2014
